This is a confidential service for information or if you need advice or support. The service is operational 4pm until 8am, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Lines are manned by trained staff who will be able to advise you.

We also now offer an add-on element to NERIL, a webchat service offering advice and support. Opening times Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6pm to 11pm. This is a confidential service. Times and opening days may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.

About Mid (Essex) Mind

Mid (Essex) Mind offers a variety of services to the community of Mid Essex through various projects. We are a local mental health charity run by local people and are affiliated to National Mind.

We have offices in St Peter’s Hospital and the SVT Building, Heybridge.

As a Community Project many of our services are provided in a range of community facilities: hospital and health facilities; council and partner organisations’ premises; church halls and of course peoples' homes.

Our objectives are:

To provide a wide range of caring support for individuals with mental health needs wherever and whenever it is needed and to raise positive public awareness of mental health issues and campaign for better mental health services.
